π¬
π This training session is led by the Partner Success team and focuses on:
- Navigating the Aerialytic design interface
- Creating accurate solar panel layouts
- Optimizing system designs for maximum efficiency
- Generating client-ready proposals
- Troubleshooting common design challenges
All design team members should review this training to ensure consistent quality across all projects.
Interconnections Team Training
This training provides a detailed overview of the Interconnections Team processes and responsibilities. The video explains how our team manages the critical connection between solar installations and the utility grid.
π¬
Key areas covered in this training:
- Understanding utility requirements and regulations
- Completing interconnection applications and documentation
- Coordinating with utility companies effectively
- Managing permission to operate (PTO) processes
- Troubleshooting common interconnection issues
This training is essential for all team members involved in the interconnection process to ensure smooth grid integration for our solar projects.
Water Heater
The training explains the benefits of installing a hybrid water heater as a strategy to strengthen solar system sales and reduce cancellations through the Retention Program.
It introduces the trained personnel responsible for the installation and addresses potential obstacles that may arise during the process. It also details the optimal locations within the home for installation, as well as the areas where it should NOT be installed.
It is clarified that:
- Hybrid water heaters of 50 or 80 gallons are installed, which must be confirmed with the customer in advance to avoid misunderstandings.
- The unit features smart technology with remote programming options.
- The warranty is 10 years (the first year covered by Equity Solar and the remaining 9 years by Rheem).
Regarding the process:
- The contract signing procedure is reviewed.
- The goal is to complete the site survey and the water heater installation on the same day to avoid a second visit and reduce the risk of cancellation.
- Not all areas in Florida have the program enabled.
- Scheduling options are provided, emphasizing that sales representatives must specify the unit capacity in the notes.
- The customerβs presence during installation is mandatory.
- The old water heater is not removed, and the new unitβs box is left on site.
- Recommendations are provided for the proper disposal of the old water heater.
Finally, success cases from the program are shared, highlighting that site surveyors can provide support by addressing any questions from sales representatives. The training is focused on ensuring success in both the sale and the installation, reinforcing that the program is a strategy that generates savings for the customer and reduces cancellations for the salesperson.
